The Cold Brew Project makes cold brew with only two ingredients: coffee, water y nada más – the coffee is roasted in a unique way so the flavor is naturally sweet without having to add sugar. Their product simplifies the process for offices to serve cold brew on tap by managing setup logistics and distributing it in kegs across the Bay. The Cold Brew Project is primed to capitalize on the $110 billion coffee market's fastest-growing category as consumer preferences shift from hot to cold coffee, driven by Millennials and Gen Z.
Maria is building a lifestyle brand in coffee to showcase the richness of her country, Colombia, and create a bigger market for specialty coffee. With 12 years of work experience in commodities trading and market analysis, she brings a wealth of operational expertise to her venture. Most recently, she built a cross-border energy infrastructure business between Texas and Mexico from scratch, now valued at more than $1 billion. She graduated from Tulane University with a degree in Finance and is earning a Master’s in Management from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
