Sielo Robotics is building physical AI for care. Over 140 million people require daily physical support due to aging, injury, and disability, and the growth of the aging population is breaking the care workforce that holds the system together. Sielo's first product is an affordable wheelchair-mounted robotic arm for disabled users that delivers immediate independence in their homes and generates the diverse real-world manipulation data that physical AI needs to provide physical care.
Evan Zeglinski-Spinney is the CEO of Sielo Robotics. He studied Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Ottawa, graduating magna cum laude, and brings a technical background in hardware engineering, robotic systems, and FPGA design. After his sister spent a year in the hospital, Evan began building Sielo with his co-founders in 2023 after being approached by people with severe mobility limitations who needed better assistive technology.
