Schemata is building a 3D content creation and manipulation platform for mission-critical industries. Defense and enterprise customers are creating 3D representations of physical infrastructure for inspection, planning, and training. Schemata enables these constituents to create these models 90% faster, and uses generative AI to search, edit, and understand their models like never before. Their beachhead is the $205 billion virtual training and simulation market and their first use-case is simulator training for the military.

James was an Infantry and Information Operations Officer in the United States Marines Corps before coming to Stanford to pursue a master’s in Symbolic Systems and MBA from the Graduate School of Business. He has conducted research in the Virtual Human Interaction Lab and has completed internships at NASA and Harpoon Ventures. He, and the Traverse team, are leveraging their unique 3D graphics and machine learning knowledge to crack highly regulated industries where they have first-hand experience in these domains.
