Parkzy

The peer-to-peer parking network

Parkzy is building a peer-to-peer network for on-demand parking where every user is both a driver and a host, with no listings, pricing, or availability to manage. When a driver needs parking, they set their destination and what they are willing to pay, nearby users are instantly notified, and the first to accept earns money by renting out their spot. Long-term, Parkzy aims to turn distributed private parking into micro-depot infrastructure for autonomous vehicle fleets to stage, charge, and reposition between rides.

Vala Makhfi is the co-founder and CEO of Parkzy and graduated from UC Berkeley Haas with a degree in Business Administration. He previously worked in management consulting at Alvarez & Marsal, advising Fortune 500 clients across strategy, finance, and business execution. He is joined by his co-founder Nila Makhfi, who holds a master's in Consumer Psychology from University of Southern California and brings marketing and brand experience from Snap, AXS, and Beats, and Milad Farazian, who holds a master's in Computer Science from University of Southern California and brings software engineering experience from Walmart.
