An underwriting intelligence platform for reinsurance
Insurizq is building an underwriting intelligence platform for the global reinsurance industry. Today, reinsurers spend weeks manually reviewing fragmented and incomplete underwriting submissions from insurance companies before deploying millions of dollars of capital against those risks. Insurizq streamlines underwriting workflows while creating a new alternative data layer for private market risk, helping reinsurers uncover hidden exposures, generate stronger underwriting insights, and make faster capital allocation decisions.
Muskan Effendi is the founder of Insurizq. She graduated from Princeton University with a degree in Public Policy and has worked in reinsurance underwriting, managing financial lines and medical malpractice portfolios across Bermuda, London, and North American markets. She is joined by CTO Betel Tenna, who graduated from Princeton in Computer Science and was a software engineer at Amazon specializing in AI data governance and technology policy. Betel has been recognized by the National Security Agency, Lockheed Martin, and Amazon for her work building community-enabling technologies.
