ElectricFish
Portable microgrids for fast EV charging and electric fleet backup energy.
ElectricFish has developed the 350², a patented system that utilizes proprietary power electronics, battery storage, and software to integrate with existing grid connections and enable fast EV charging for fleet operators at grid-constrained sites, avoiding costly and time-intensive grid upgrades and trenching. The company has launched pilots in the city of Detroit and Los Angeles and has been awarded grants from the California Energy Commission for their work in reducing energy disparities in low-income communities.
Fola has over eight years of experience across the U.S., Kenya, and Nigeria in process innovation, operations management, and policymaking in the energy domain. Fola holds a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering from the University of Lagos, an MBA from the University of Oxford, and is a PhD Candidate in Energy Science and Engineering at the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability. Her co-founder, Anurag, researched lithium-ion batteries for cell aging at BMW's technology office and developed medium and light-duty trucks and buses at Volvo-Eicher Motors.
