Carbon
AI agents that recover lost revenue for local businesses
Carbon is building AI agents that help local service businesses reactivate past customers, answer inbound calls, and drive repeat bookings. While acquiring a new customer can cost 5–7x more than winning back an existing one, most shops have no system to work the customer lists they already own. Carbon turns customer databases into a low-cost revenue channel, helping businesses recover missed revenue from past customers. Since launching last month, Carbon has already recovered tens of thousands in revenue for local shops.
Daunte Pean is the co-founder and CEO of Carbon. He graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and previously worked at Deloitte as a consultant, where he deployed AI agents to automate business processes for enterprise clients. Daunte also has six years experience in owning local service businesses, which showed him that the biggest revenue leak is not pricing or new leads, but missed follow-ups. He is joined by co-founders Anthony Zheng, who studied Architecture at Cornell, Sabeeh Hassany, and Abdul Abbas, who both studied Computer Science at Boston College.
