Gatsby TV is a platform designed to help users navigate the vast sea of movies and shows through tailored recommendations from friends. The mobile application acts as a data aggregator of all a user’s streaming video demand services in one place and provides suggestions for television series through int social media platform. Gatsby TV aims to transition the traditional algorithmic approach for creating recommendations from personalized data to collective insights generated through social interactions.
Prior to founding his company, Gatsby had a prolific career as an engineer at Apple, Microsoft, Google, and Cisco, and previously built a cryptocurrency platform that doubled as a trading desk and social media app. His initial academic pursuits led him to Coastal Carolina University, where he studied economics. Presently, Gatsby is pursuing a dual master’s degree in Data Science at University of California, Berkeley, and Product Design at Stanford, where he is an Accel Leadership Fellow through the Technology Ventures Program.
